2009 PFD SKI TEAM

The 2009 Ski Season saw the PFD Ski Team venture West for the Lakes Region Fire Fighters Ski Race in January in Western NY.  The well run event was highlighted by prime ski conditions, tough competition and great camaraderie.  Alfred Station FD took 1st Place Honors followed by a Silver and Bronze Medal for the Canadian Fire Fighters from Milton Ontario.  Palenville FD just missed the podium finishing a close Fourth Place and host North Boston FD rounded out the top 5.  The team will make two more appearances this season at the East Coast Firefighters Ski Race at Hunter Mountain and at the Northeast Firefighter Ski Race at Holiday Mountain.  The 2009 Team includes Blake Garrison, Kevin Lennon, Chris Spitz, Evan Spitz, Jim Castle, Joseph Rothrock, Kevin Dobert and  Philip Kenny (Strength and Nutrition Coach).
