PALENVILLE FIRE DISTRICT
ETA22-4 REPLACEMENT PROJECT
After unsuccessful grant applications for 6 consecutive years, Palenville Fire District was awarded a Fire Act Grant in January of 2008. The award of more than $200,000 was the second successful Fire Act grant for Palenville during the 2007 Application Period. The earlier grant had awarded Palenville funding to purchase a Thermal Imaging Camera and 12 New MSA SCBA. In August of 2008, Ferrara Fire Apparatus of Holden Louisiana was awarded the contract to provide the new Fire Apparatus to the Palenville Fire District. Delivery is expected in January of 2009.
